In our daily life, many items will show aging problems after being used for a period of time. In the meantime, leaking kitchen faucets is a relatively common phenomenon. If this kind of problem occurs, how should we deal with it?
1. The joint of the faucet is leaking
Treatment method: Check whether the screw cap at the connecting pipe is loose. The solution is to tighten the nut or replace it with a new U-shaped gasket.
2. Water leakage in the lower part of the faucet bolt: Water leakage in the lower part of the faucet bolt is caused by the wear of the triangular gasket in the gland.
Solution: You can loosen the screw to remove the bolt head, then loosen and remove the gland, then take out the triangle seal inside the gland and replace it with a new one.
3. Water leakage at the water outlet: the kitchen faucet is leaking, and water leakage at the water outlet is caused by the wear of the axial gasket in the faucet.
Treatment method: Use pliers to loosen the gland and remove it, take out the shaft gasket with a clamp, and replace it with a new shaft gasket.
1. Check or replace the water supply hose every 1-2 years or so.
2. To use the faucet correctly, turn it off and open as much as possible. Don't turn the knob of the faucet repeatedly, and don't turn the faucet too tightly.
3. Try not to bump the faucet with hard objects. For the use of bathtub faucet, the metal hose of the shower head should be kept in a natural stretched state. Do not coil it on the faucet when not in use. When in use or not, be careful not to form a dead angle at the joint between the hose and the valve body to avoid breakage or damage.
